Before you enter the Gallery, I would like to explain
a little about the pictures you will find there. All of the
pictures represent a moment in someone’s life. Some of the
pictures are of members of my family and some are of clients, or
their families, I have done work for. In either case, I always
get permission before using a finished photo in the media.
The pictures in my Gallery were designed by me especially for the person
or persons in that picture and their families.
As you will notice, there are all kinds of pictures in the Gallery. There
are pictures of families, kids, grandkids (mine), weddings (my
Wendy and her Brian – Kevin was her first husband), pet
memorial, pet telling Mom thank for being a good Mom, look for
Toothless (that’s my 38 year old Lisa), the one with the fat
cheeks in the red rocking chair is her 19 year old son, see what
kind of fun you can have, there are all kinds of Moments – just
remember – every moment is special to someone.
In the case of a memorial picture, you may wonder how I can say the
pictures are designed “especially for the person in that picture
and their families.” A lot of thought and time go into each job
I do. I feel as though I know the people in the pictures I make.
When a memorial picture is seen by the family for the first
time, there is always a lot of tears, for which they always
apologize. My standard reply is, “Go ahead and cry. If you don’t
cry, I haven’t done my job.”
